A traditional Greek dish, Soutzoukakia are small, spiced meatballs that are cooked in a flavourful tomato-based sauce. Perfect for a hearty meal.

Soutzoukakia is a traditional recipe of spiced meatballs baked in a luscious tomato sauce! Their name is a bit hard to pronounce if you're not Greek, but don't let that discourage you from giving them a try. I've seen Soutzoukakia served as a side-dish, but in my family, it's either rice or mashed potatoes!

This is such an amazing dish! Thanks for sharing the recipe. Had some left over sauce and turned it into breakfast spread over toasted bread with cheese… fantastic! 🤤

@Juanella you can use any tinned tomato sauce for this recipe. Personally, I go for the “Peeled Plum Tomatoes” option at the supermarket. It never fails to deliver that delicious tomato flavor. 😊
