Crunchy on the outside and soft within, these white wine-infused, sesame-crusted Greek cookies or 'Koulourakia Krasata' are the perfect coffee companion.
Have the butter in room temperature and add it in a mixer along with the sugar. Mix them in medium speed for about 5 minutes, until it’s smooth and fluffy.
Continue mixing by adding the corn oil, wine, baking powder, vanilla and half of the flour.
Once everything is incorporated add the rest of the flour and mix until you have a unified dough.
Take a piece of the dough and roll it horizontally to create a string. Then join the edges and shape a round cookie.
Add sesame in a plate, place the cookie on top and gently press it down for the sesame seeds to stick on the cookie.
Place the cookies on a baking tray covered with parchment paper and bake them in the middle rack of a preheated oven at 180ºC (350ºF) for about 22 minutes or until they are golden brown.
