In a bowl, mix together all of the liquid ingredients (pumpkin, oil, eggs, orange juice, and orange zest) until combined, and set aside.
In a second, larger bowl, mix together the flour, baking soda, sugar, cinnamon, clove nutmeg, and ginger.
Gently pour the pumpkin mixture from step 1 into the bowl with the dry ingredients. Stir until everything is combined into a smooth batter.
Next, add the chocolate chips to the batter and mix until they are evenly distributed.
Oil up a loaf pan, add the batter, and bake in a preheated oven at 180ºC (350ºF) for 60-70 minutes. Once done, let it cool for 10 minutes before taking it out of the loaf pan.
