Fooodlove’s Savoury Cake is perfect party food for kids, a great packed lunch alternative to sandwiches and a flavoursome savoury snack for adults too!

I started making this Savoury Cake as finger food for my daughters' parties but after the second time, I realised that there are so many different ways to enjoy this that we ended up having it for breakfast, as a lunch side dish or even a quick late-night snack.

TIP: Every time I do this recipe, I'm trying different fillings depending on what's available on my fridge, and everyone thinks it's a different recipe!

This is hands down the worst recipe I’ve ever made. Sorry! Way too much fat, it was just yucky.

@Emily for this savoury cake, I split the batter between two tins, each measuring 22×11 cm. If you’re using a single larger tin, bake a little longer and check doneness with a skewer. Aim for a moist crumb with a slight crust.
