Green beans with tomato sauce - the ultimate veggie dish! I love cooking this up as a veggie main for everybody to enjoy when I have friends and family around, and this is one that everybody consistently reaches for, veggie or not.

Something magical definitely happens when the wine and tomatoes meld with the olive oil to make the glorious sauce, and the zestiness of lemon and herbs really make the green beans sing. Serve it with a whole host of accompanying mezedes on a special occasion, or top it with feta, serve it with bread, and enjoy it as the star of the show! The choice is yours.

This is an old time classic. My yiayia used to make it every other week and it was delicious. Gonna give it a try soon.
